I’m Farhad Noorali—a teacher, lifelong learner, and reflective educator based in Ottawa, Canada.
My journey in education spans more than a decade of teaching English as a foreign language in Iran, training interpreters in the U.S., and now completing my Bachelor of Teacher Education at the University of Ottawa. Along the way, I earned a Master’s in English Translation Studies and a Bachelor’s in English Translation Training, which continue to shape how I think about language, communication, and learning.
I specialize in designing learner-centered curriculum, scaffolded lessons, and inclusive classroom practices that help students move from concrete to abstract thinking.
I believe that learning happens through struggle—and struggle is discomforting. To grow, we must tolerate discomfort, embrace uncertainty, and remain open to transformation. This philosophy guides my teaching, my readings, and my ongoing reflections as both a student and an educator.
